Wising up my Work Wardrobe!

Work Wardrobe Inspiration

Ever since I’ve started my new job I can’t help but feel my work wardrobe is in need of a major update.  I think it’s so important to feel comfortable and confident at work by wearing the right clothes.

So I thought if anyone is in the same dilemma as me at the moment, it might help to mood board some of my Autumn/Winter outfit ideas.

I’ve been playing around on Polyvore and here are some outfits I’ve came up with.

Hopefully they will give you some inspiration!

You may have seen in my latest video that I’ve discovered Oasis recently – the shop that is, not the band.  This outfit is basically me trying to create something to wear around this gorgeous burgundy Embroided Collar Knit top.

I already have the SelectSpecs Infinity 9830 prescription glasses and not the same but similar Miss KG Nadia Tassel Loafers and Fiorelli Mia Grab Bag.  So yes I will definitely be ordering this come payday.

I recently bought the Asos Petite Skater Skirt, which I couldn’t clip for Polyvore so a similar skirt is shown above.  I’ve found short sleeved shirts look very chic and pretty with this type of skirt.  But I was looking for a way to wear it for when the weather starts getting seriously cold.

This stripey TopShop Funnel Neck Top seems to fit, or any other roll neck top.  I’ve paired it with the usual black tights, a smart bag (Carvela Black Slouch Pebble Grab Bag) and ankle boats (Lauren by Ralph Lauren Black Leather Saida Ankle Boots, seen at TK Maxx).

Finally, some days I just need trousers.  I saw a pair or Polka Dot work trousers at Topshop recently but I was regretfully too slow and they soon sold out.

I found a similar pair in these Oasis Spot Slim Leg Trousers, although I would need to alter them as they’re not petite fit.

Again, I’m a sucker for roll necks so I matched it with this Topshop Long Sleeve Frill Top and cute but professional Oasis Bow Point Flats.
